Mule Deer Hunting

This picture was taken before the 2012 season in mid August. Mule deer in our area don't typically rub until early to mid September as you can see the velvet is still on. Wyoming is a great place to harvest velvet horned mule deer during archery season. Hunting in early September is the best chance you'll have at harvesting a velvet horned mule deer buck.
